Exploring Wicca, Ritual and Magick
An introduction to the core practices used by our local Sydney
Coven is the focus of this workshop. Learn how to use the
Witch's Circle to transform your life and restore a connection
with the psychic reality. The workshop is usually run over
4 consecutive weekly sessions.
I also run these for private groups occasionally. Held over
two Saturdays as a weekend intensive workshop.

CASTING THE WITCH'S CIRCLE WORKSHOP
SUMMARY
The workshop overall is
broken into 4 parts, with each week including a theory session
followed by a practicum in the form of several rituals. Included
is a 60 page reference manual. The workshop leader is published
author Tim Hartridge.
WEEK 1
Theory session:
Brief intro and how to get started; Wicca verses Witchcraft
and the contemporary expressions of the Craft; The influence
of Alchemy and Ceremonial magick in the Witch's Circle work;
How our Coven functions and an introduction our core method
and approach to Circle ritual. (Any questions are encouraged
throughout.)
Ritual practicum:
An introduction to the Middle Pillar (Chakra) practice; The
use of Chi or psychic energy in ritual; a method of Circle
casting and using the Enochian tablet of Union; An Hermetic
magickal primer exercise; Applying the 'alchemy' of the Witch's
Cauldron; Condensing thought-forms for improvised Spell-casting.

WEEK 2
Theory session:
Jung, Alchemy and Magick; Hermetic magick as internal Alchemy
and applied to the Witch's circle; What is really happening
when the Pentagram is used in ritual; Rosaleen Norton's practice
of Witchcraft and method of work; Primal tools of trance,
dance and drum. Viewing a Coven ritual - 7 minute video documentary,
an archive of our old Coven in ritual; What is the Witches'
Cone of Power. Questions.
Ritual practicum:
Using dance for power raising; 3rd part to Middle Pillar (Chakra)
practice; the Circle casting; Attempting power raising with
dance; Applying trance techniques. Feedback time.

WEEK 3
Theory session:
Using Alchemy as an analyzing tool; Principles of Spellcraft
using techniques of Sympathetic magick; Fundamentals of Sigil
Magick and constructing a Sigil; the Witch's use of alchemical
processes in spells. Questions.
Ritual practicum:
Reinforcing the rituals - Middle Pillar (Chakra) practice;
the Circle casting; Using the Sigils in a practical Spell-casting
combined with raising the witches' Cone of Power with dance;
Alchemical incubation of the spell. Feedback time.

and the Pentagram; Decoding sacred time and space in Wicca.
Questions.
Ritual practicum:
the middle pillar and Circle casting rite; Techniques for
deepening trance and connecting to psychic energy in the Circle;
Using the Tarot oracle to divine a path ahead. Feedback time.
