Curiosity before knowledge

Welcome to the BOOKCASE. It's a well known fact—Witches and Magicians are book lovers. In fact, it can't be overstated, it's an image eteched into our imaginations—the Witch with her Book of Shadows or the Magician with his Grimoire of the Black Arts—it's a love affair with the search for curious things found in curious books!

In the coming months I will be making many thoughful additions to our BOOKCASE. These are here for you to browse through and even acquire as part of your own growing Bookcase Collection. I will be starting with a small archive of books I am well versed in from my own Bookcases, including some recent acquisitions.

Many of these books are the recommendations I make to students of the Occult. Come and take a peek, I guaranteed you'll not be disappointed.

Also on this page you'll find some general new releases and bargains from resellers. To begin your search I've divided the BOOKCASE into three sections: The Researcher for getting the fundamentals together; Witchcraft & Magick for developing a robust arsenal of occult handbooks; and Myth & Archetype for depth and exploratory guides to the Mysteries.

If there are areas of research you doing and you'd like advice on what I'd recommend, please just write your requests and I'll happily respond with a selection. I also have many personal contacts who I can put your requests to for advice for more specialised areas of study. Naturally any feedback on what you find in the BOOKCASE is very welcome by the Curator – just drop me a line. Okay take me to the BOOKCASE

"I find television very educational. Every time someone turns it on, I go in the other room and read a book."
~ Groucho Marx.
