"My definition of witchcraft is that it's a practical system of mysticism whose method is known as magick. Magick is really a connection to the psyche, the deep self. It's simply using a vehicle such as ritual as a means of getting there. For me, ritual turns the switch on. At other times, I'm just Tim."

About

BIO

Witchcraft is how the soul remembers how to speak to the world and listen to the psychic reality.

Tim Ozpagan is an Australian Witch, writer, and teacher whose work bridges practical modern Witchcraft, ritual practice, and community culture.

Active in Pagan spaces for decades, he is known for building enduring containers for learning and contact through WitchesWorkshop and Witch Circle, where he teaches workshops on ritual craft, psychic development, and the lived realities of coven and circle work.

The Witch is a psychic function of the soul: a way of engaging Mystery with skill and responsibility.

Tim’s approach is both experiential and reflective: he speaks about the Witch not only as an identity, but as a psychic function of the soul — a way of engaging the numinous through ritual, symbol, and direct encounter.

He is also candid about the human side of magical groups: the pressure, projection, intimacy, and ethical complexity that arise when a circle becomes more than a social gathering and begins to function as a transformative vessel.

Real Witchcraft leaves fingerprints: in practice, in psyche, in community

His recent book, Anatomy of a Witches’ Coven, offers a structured, practical framework for understanding coven dynamics, authority, responsibility, and resilience — aimed at serious practitioners who want more than surface inspiration.

He has been engaged as a paid lecturer and presenter on Witchcraft and related subjects through institutions and societies including The University of Adelaide, Western Sydney University, and the C.G. Jung Society of Sydney.

Tim is available for interviews, podcasts, media features, panels, and guest lectures on contemporary Witchcraft, coven culture, ritual practice, and the evolving place of Paganism in modern life.
